Not every well-meant suggestion is moaning Ian. . . . . Although obviously some suggestions are not so well meant!
Stop being such a whiney b1tch, Spen, even if you are just on a wind-up.
I might try to make it after work, I'll be a super late arrival though.
Hmmm, really though?By all means arrange a meet up but don't claim it to be something its not. The location excludes those who do not live in South London
Whiney?
A venue that is arrange for a London CC commuters meet up and is so far out of the way as to be a near 30 mile ride home afterwards!
It may only be 7 miles from Charing Cross, but not all London CC members live at Charing Cross.

Haha! That's the spirit! You'd be more than welcome but I reckon you might be late6812 km's, I better get on my bike now
Y'know what? I think I managed to go north of the river once for a meet up. Yes, I'm sure I did. Once I'd fought off the dragons and other wylde beastes, I went to Brick Lane for a curry.
And there was the other time when I went to Euston.
Oh - and another, when we were up Pentonville Road.
Then the several times we went to Ealing.
And the meets in Liverpool St & Kings Cross...
Of course, I made sure that I whined about all of them before thoroughly enjoying the ride home.
Charing Cross is counted as Central London so for the record Brick Lane is East London and Euston is North London.Hmm Brick Lane, Pentonville, Liverpool St & Euston are all Central London.
This venue is many miles from Central London and as such is practically inaccessible for those in other areas of London. Would you call a meet in Romford/ Wembley or similar as a meet for London commuters?
There is a world of difference between Kings Cross and Tooting in terms of accessibility.
I have no problem with the location or the meet - its calling it a meet for London commuters when it is inaccessible to most London commuters
Call it what it is a meet up for those who live in South London
