What sort of chase music would be playing? I'm thinking Starsky and Hutch for you

I was waved to stop by a copper again this morning. The thing is I was accelerating past a junction, I just shouted 'Sorry late for work!' and carried on. I was half expecting a stinger further along the road and be taken down by Tazer.
What did the police want to stop you for?
I don't RLJ so not expecting to be chased. BUT, I would expect them to hail down the nearest car by flashing their badge in the style of Bruce Willis and give chase, hitting every passing vegetable stall, in the process.
my colleague mentioned the same, apparently he was blocking two lanes of road right in front of them.Saw fuzz telling a taxi driver off at the junction by Wellington Arch this morning which put a massive smile on my face.
I saw better one last night, cycling through Knightsbridge passed a fairly slow and nervous cycle plod in a yellow hi viz uniform. A few seconds later I heard that mad tooting that can only signify a driver is taking exception to the existence of a cyclist. You know, not a quick warning toot, or a long angry blast but a series of bleats of maddeningly varying volume and length.
There was only one car that could have done this, and only one cyclist it could have been directed at - the policeman. Sure enough, the policemen caught up with him two lights later, and began giving him a telling-off.
Should cycle police have lights or a siren? He caught up at the first lights, too, but couldn't make himself known before the lights changed and the car drove off.
..........and those big stacks of empty cardboard boxes.I don't RLJ so not expecting to be chased. BUT, I would expect them to hail down the nearest car by flashing their badge in the style of Bruce Willis and give chase, hitting every passing vegetable stall, in the process.
