You know as you approach Blackfriars Bridge going south? And you get to those lights at the foot of the bridge.

And you know that massive pothole that magically appeared this evening about 20 meres beforehand? The one I saw at the last moment and crashed both wheels into and stayed upright somehow as I climbed out the other side, in the manner of a long lost tourist exiting the Grand Canyon? Yes, that one. Well, it has a twin just a few feet in front almost as mean.

Two flat tyres.

Fixed both. Will report to fix that hole. At least it wasn't snowing tonight.

Sorry to hear it. Good thing reporting it, I have heard that there is some resource where the council are *shock, gasp* held to account in the sense that it tells everyone where and when the pothole was reported, and the response. Alas, I do not know its name

Two spare tubes. Still can't fix a puncture without a bucket of water!

you and me both, not that I've tried though, the only patch on any of my tubes was done for me by another rider on a night ride. I then thanked the wrong person and was never sure, it might have been Adam though, who the kind hearted guy had been. My excuse is that I was flustered over my first ever puncture.

Two at once, in the cold and dark, hats off to you for coping so well

Do you mean Fillthathole. (careful if you do a Google search  )

You report the pothole on the website, they then inform the correct council. If there are future accidents caused by the same pot hole, then the council can't claim not to have been told about it.

I've report a few potholes and they've all been filled in within a week or two.

Vauxhall and Albert are on my regular commute. Lovely, both.

Well, except for the pinch point on the north bank of Albert, where cars want to over take you from the lights to get through first. Crazy...

Glad you're ok.
So many potholes springing up on the roads after the cold snap. There are many on my commute and lots of loose bits of road that get lodged in my brake pads. Argh.
