I did finally get to meet you Gaz or at least I heard Arallsopp say "That was Gaz" to me when we were about 20 yards further down the road!

I was on telly for a couple of milliseconds on BBC!!

Phew! Luckily I don't have a telly.

It was a pretty successful action in the main, I think. Good turnout, and a good atmosphere. One B*W barging out of Parliament, apparently, but I didn't see any bother. Positive response from most pedestrians.

I saw someone comment on the lack of women. I'd disagree. I thought there were a lot of women there. Nowhere near 50%, but more than the proportion of women commuters, I think.

Oh - and I should have mentioned I met arallsopp en route, which was fun, but we got split up after a while. Respect to him for riding a bent in a very slow mass of people.

One B*W barging out of Parliament, apparently

I saw that happening, drove through a marshal and at several cyclists who got out of the way, marshall, jumped on the x5 which continued blasting down the road, all in the view of around 20 coppers, the driver was quickly told to head off in a completely different direction to where he wanted to go and away from the cyclists.

yes, not been back long and the atmosphere was great. saw a few cameramen and saw somebody being interviewed. have just reviewed the london news on the tivo and seen it was somebody from the blogs. total coverage was about 8 minutes , BBC having better coverage than ITV. spent about 30 minutes ther in total and had a sensible ride home.

might do CM this friday now.

under waterloo bridge at southbank between 6 and 7 pm. riding this evening ids now dependent on how sore my left arm is. not overly swollen just bloomin aches
