London driver gets what he deserves

Good awareness and communication all round.

But here's an odd thought: perhaps in a few years' time, the car wouldn't even have pulled into view, not because nobody can afford the petrol, but because the driver had learnt that passing in the outside lane would serve no purpose apart from to leave the cyclist guessing what the car was going to do next.

Clearly the cyclists should have slowed to give the driver the right of way he had there, but instead they had to be typical militant smug cyclist types and be riding on the road two abreast especially the guy with the camera who had clearly engineered the whole situation to get attention.

a thumbs up or wave usually gets the same from drivers, pretty much common courtesy but it does go a long way
