I can dream I guess, we do get badgers and deer at least.
so do my parents and they live within the M25.
And so do we, we are within the south circular and classed as Inner London
We not only have Roe deer, we also have Muntjac deer, badgers, foxes, millions of squirrels, Canadian Geese and flocks of green parakeets.

Within ten minutes' walk of my front door I can have an excellent Indian, Chinese, French, Italian, Tapas, Vietnamese or 'world' meal (jerk chicken, organic welsh lamb) or as good a fish 'n chips as you can get anywhere. (I'm sure there are others...that's just straight off the top of my head.) Name me *any* other place in the world that could match that.

West London born and bred, moved a bit further west when a kid and then kept going and ended up in Wales. Lived back in London in my twenties and loved it. Still really enjoy going back for a visit, wouldn't want to live there anymore but am happy knowing it's only 3 hours down the road and we can go there whenever we want.

Its better than the Northern ghettos anyway.

In my street, I can have Indian, Chinese, Fish and Chips, Italian (+another pizzeria) Thai, Tapas or kebabs. And I live in a small town in Northumberland, pop 14,000

Mind you, I love London, and I'm actually from dahn sahf anyway, and lived in London for many years

and you can sit and watch the fastest animals on the planet (Peregrines) by the Thames at the Tate or having flying lessons over Hammersmith (as i witnessed earlier this week) - 4 falcons in one circle of the binoculars.

you can sit and watch Adders as jets thunder over before landing at Heathrow in less than a minute.

i live in the largest south Korean enclave outside of Korea.

London, my home town.

My favourite London beer is Fullers. London Pride is an excellent bitter at around 5%, ESB is that little bit stronger and darker. It's not to everyone's taste of course but I'd recommend trying a Pride at least once while you're down...or is it up?

Any decent London pale ales? I'll be out in London on Saturday night.

I enjoy a visit to London, but I don't know that I could live there. Manchester still seems like a pretty big place to me, after 13 years in York, where you're never more than a 15 minute bike ride from the countryside.

Although I guess when you live in a big city, you just live in your little locality, and you have everything you need there.

I do love the sights of London, I'm terribly traditional like that. My favourite walk is a loop from the front of the National Gallery, up the Mall, into St James' Park, through Horseguards, down Whitehall and back along the Embankment and up Charing Cross Road (?) to Trafalgar Square again.

Leeds can match that and at a much lower price.

London is fantastic. If I could afford it, I'd move there. I love the vibrancy, the confidence and the big, big ideas,.
