Orbital is a band, more accurately, a dance music outfit/duo and not a ring road.

Had the 2CD version ordered from Sainsbury's online in advance, waited and waited (had about four 'we're waiting for more stock' emails), gave up, cancelled, reordered from Play. Shipped same day. Missed the tour, can't make December either. Grr.

one of the best live acts I've ever seen - their set at Glastonbury in 95 was a particular highlight, along with them mixing the chimes from Big Ben live into Chime on New years' eve in......... sometime in the late 90s.

Saw them again last year (maybe longer?) at Brixton and the bass was just incredible.

I bought one of their albums in about '95 - '96? In Sides, or Insides. 'Out' after a few plays but I'll search for it tonight following reading this thread, ta.

Chime still gives me goosebumps now. When I get in laptop I'll dig out the version of halcyon with 2 extra fantastic samples mixed in live. Unless someone beats me to it.

Oh no ! Was it not the time Orbital first headlined Glasto that the festival became, well sh** !

OK Orbital did one good tune.

definitely - Orbital headlined in 94 and it was pretty great - 95 was the last one I went to I think though.

and that version of Halcyon (more recent than when I saw them do it I think), there go the goosebumps again
