Do you mind? I was born in London.

(The hospital where I was born, the Princess Beatrice in Old Brompton Road, is now a hostel for down-and-outs but the less said about that, the better.)

I love London. It's beautiful, vibrant, interesting, has some of the best buildings in the world and as a bonus has great beer.

You can find cr@p anywhere if you look hard enough. I don't know some of the towns listed well enough to comment, but the fact that London and York are in the list make me think that it's either tongue in cheek or just a plain rubbish bit of filler.

I can't name the film.

You're right about the Bromptons though. There are zillions of them.

In the first one, didn't Hull come top? They just had a close-up photo of a dog turd.

Or did I dream that?

EDIT: Actually, it might have been a human one....

Why isn't Doncaster or Wakefield on the list? Only seen them from the train and that was enough. We have an education centre in Doncaster and I keep threatening to go there,(no jokes).

I don't like London, thats just me, I find it to busy, expensive and pretencious, but I don't think it qualifies as crap. Crap is a town with zero prospects, zero to do, zero culture, zero green fields and trees, and nothing but cars, potholes, and angry people..

They forgot Ipswich where the current big news is the battle of the 99p/£1 stores.

Lymington in the New Forest borders.

When Woolworths closed a couple of years ago Wetherspoons wanted to move in, but there was a massive campaign that it was inappropriate and a Wetherspoons would lower the tone of the town with an effect on businesses......

The premises are now an aesthetically pleasing outlet that raises the reputation, ambience and tone of Lymington - a Pound Shop!

Couldn't have been more ironic
