Myself and 14 yr old son are heading off 12th Aug. Le Shuttle to Calais then a few days on back roads to Paris. Wild camping en route. Each night, just get into the country, look for a wood, go round the back away from the road, pitch the tent. Simples - isn't it?? First ever tour for us. Just been out on the bikes first time fully loaded. Not as bad as i thought.... i think!
