I mapped out a route from London to Shoreham mostly following the Downs link trail. I ride it last weekend and it's a belter! A lot of it is "off road", but we're talking cinder track rather than muddy fields here and I was fine on 28c road tyres.
I'd really like to ride it again in company and it would make a good day ride. Anyone fancy giving it a go? It's about 110km, lumpy in places, but no more so than a Friday night ride.
