That's my ride home, pretty much when I'm feeling up to it (less about 10 miles). Don't tend to do this ride as I can't find anyone to do it with -mostly have MTB family and friends who will do under 25 miles, who look on me as something of an oddity/masichist when I suggest it.

Another good, imo, Essex charity ride is the Orchid ride in Billericay.
Normally in June, so this year is gone, but a good choice of rides 20,40,75 and 100 miles.
Well worth a Sunday morning in June

Second the Orchid. Very scenic .

Did it this year was a lovely route and the 100 with training is doable for most. Not a hilly route at all.
