fifteen quid looks like a bargain. It's not every day that you get your pedicure from hundreds of nibbling fish. The question is.....will it travel? Is this just for lotus-munching Londoners, or can you see it taking off in Llangollen?

I may be imagining this but I think I read somewhere that apart from the poncey, beauty aspect (very chi-chi luvvy metropolitan) of this, isn't it supposed to be good for people with skin conditions, in which case it makes sense for real people too.

Old hat in Llangollen! On a warm day hundreds of tourists will be sitting on the rocks in the Dee dangling their feet into the water.

FURY OVER FISH FOOT PERVERTS IN BRIDGEND PEDICURE PROBE is my guess at a headline if this makes it to South Wales. I reckon it'd go down well in Mumbles, but I can't see it catching on in Blaen Y Maes.

Anyone got any idea what kind of fish they are, and what happens to them? Is it fuelling a dubious trade in exotic species?


Apart from that concern, I would give it a go...

have you tried it?

I have, there is an alligator farm on the west bank in Israel that is also the site of an original Roman baths and hot spring, you go from the hot pool to a fresh water pool where the fish nibble off the dead skin, it is actually very nice and leaves your skin feeling invigorated.
