Well that was a journey home I'd like to forget.
1.5 miles from work and I hear Pssst. Rear wheel decided it wanted to be a pain to get off. then the bike wouldn't balance, so in the end I rested her partially upside down next to a lamp post. At this point I thought "smells of excrement" sure enough I had just trodden in some on the path. Tyre levers didn't want to come out of their rubber case (case is now in the kitchen bin, levers are loose in the storage bottle).
Must say the CO2 pump worked faultlessly, and unlike last time (three events so far this year) I didn't freeze my hand to the pump.
2 miles further in I almost binned it on a manhole cover, and I would have been very miffed if I had binned it, as I was on my Roubaix.
2 miles later the front light decided it didn't want to work anymore, now it wasn't dark, but the fog was thickening.
1 mile after that I had to take my glasses off as the they were more fogged up than there was fog.

Well I made it home the journey took 20 minutes longer than normal. Now all I have to do is get a good days sleep, fit in shopping (I've agreed to extra shifts so need more food), collect my main commuter rear wheel from the shop now it's repaired. Before leaving for work at 15:45 tonight.
