I had a Felt Garmin for 8 years, daily commuter, and the frame has cracked. I loved that bike, it met all my needs.

Looking for a second-hand replacement and have found the Look and Condor locally. They're both in good condition, well-maintained, and both for $750. I'm looking for a primary commuter, something efficient and light and good-handling for getting around a congested city (10-12 mi/day) quickly. I make some extended rides beyond the city, 60-80 mi, but never for competitive times. I'm not a racer, that's not a consideration.

The Look is likely a better bike by any standard, but it feels like more than I need, with geometry and features better suited to aggressive racing. Is it appropriate as a primary commuter? Thanks for any advice

Look specs:

SRAM Apex groupset

Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheelset

Fizik Antares R3 saddle

3T stem

Zipp handlebars

Look Keo pedals

Condor:

Frame: Condor Agio (Dedacciai Force Triple Butted Alloy)

• Fork: Condor Carbon

• Groupset: Full Shimano 105 (Reliable, crisp shifting)

• Wheelset: Mavic Open Sport rims on Shimano 105 hubs (Bulletproof reliability)

• Tires: Vittoria Rubino Pro (Great balance of speed and puncture protection)

• Pedals: 105 clipless pedals included

• Finishing Kit: Deda Elementi stem/bars and a Selle Italia saddle

I'd take the Look bike for bike....

Better class of bike unless you want to put panniers on it then the condor might be better.

Watch out for cracks on the look and corrosion on the condor.
