It would be interesting to know what other things similar numbers of people in China have died from. I am sure there must be some very strange deaths that have occurred...

In the days when I used to spend my weekends doing these things, the Cave Rescue oop in't Dales used to publish a list of that year's call outs ranked by cause. One year, right down the bottom of the page, there was:
- Impaled head on stalactite ..... 1
Apparently the lad in question had sat down in a corner of Easter Grotto http://www.flickr.com/photos/brcc/2002287155/ taken off his helmet to scratch his head and stood up without remembering to put it back on.

I shouldn't worry too much about them. They're from China. If they ever made it this far they'd stop working and fall apart after 5 minutes...

Like all those useless TVs, phones, computers etc. Oh, hang on, my TV, phones, computers, tablet, guitars, hifi ... were all made in China and they have been 100% reliable. Clearly the exceptions that prove the rule!
