look cleats and cleat covers?

okay i need all of your expertise and knowledge again!

so i have recently received very kindly from a member on here a pair of spd-sl shoes and cleats and pedals and no to protect the cleats i am looking at cleat covers now i understand i need spd-sl ones but would rather not pay £13 for the real shimano ones so will ones like these look fit?

If you are using Shimano pedals and cleats, those won't fit. The two systems look similar, but aren't identical.

You need ones for the look keo's. Circa £7 from wiggle
I use them all the time to protect my cleats

so the cleat covers i linked to in OP should fit my shimano spd-sl as they claim to be genuine look keo cleat covers?

will seriously consider them then rather than pay another £13 or so for a pair of spd-sl cleats just get new cleats and pedals!

i have to do more walking in them then i would like to
had to walk about a mile or mile and a half in them today tried to keep on grass verge most of the time as it was along a road then a got home and found cleats full of mud

Ed sure I have seen something about stretching an old section of mtb inner tube over road cleats for walking????????????
