It took some finding and finally arrived from Italy via friends in Switzerland. The seller in Italy will not post to anywhere other than Italy. So it was a bit of a hassle but a good friend in Italy collected it and forwarded it to Switzerland and then l was able to pick up and bring to France.
So its the 25mm diameter version NOS never fitted but it is the right diameter for the seat tube on my KG386 project .

The stuff we have to do for our bikes eh ?

Sorry for the delay replying to you, lm in the middle of a lot of restoration work on our old farmhouse and haven't had time to check cycle chat . I bought the ergo post from a private individual and as far as l know it was the only one he had. My advice would be to do what l did which was to keep checking online Italian cycling websites , just ask the question to see if anyone can help. Also make the effort to ask it in Italian not English !! Good luck .
