looking for new rides

hey gang,
i live in chingford, near epping forest and belong to group of mtb riders, we are looking for new forests to ride, done swinley, found it brill, looking for other places do any of you know any other places around the m25 ish,,,???

Thetford is worth the trip, its flat but a lot of fun. Alternatively head out to Peaslake near Guildford , park up near the village shop and get exploring. Its easily the best place around the south east.

As I've advised in the Penistone Hill thread, go and buy yourselves the OS 1:25,000 map of your area. It will reveal masses of riding you never knew existed. Look for the dashed green lines, which are bridleways.

the first link - south downs - worth doing - was here last sun in fact, some steep bits but nothing too taxing.
