Having had a REALLY CR@P TIME at work for the last 2 months, and feeling completely wiped out mentally, I now have the weekend and M T W next week away from the hell-hole
Looking forward to Monday/Tuesday... Monday early doors a friend's wife is driving 3 of us and our bikes over to Whitehaven, from where we'll do the C2C (to Tynemouth) over 2 days... can't wait

I'm flying to that Italy on Tuesday and doing a few Via Feratas before riding the Maratona Dolomiti in the most beautiful scenery imaginable next Sunday. But I'm looking back on doing our coast to coast LAST weekend. If it's not one thing, it's another!

Excellent news Fnaar. Glad you are getting a break. It's a bad time of year for university teachers. My big workload hump finished today too - been having a nightmare since the middle of April.

I am looking forward to some serious writing time for the next month and then a two week cycle camping tour of the inner isles and the whole of august off. I've got to work until the end of July after only 5 days annual leave since last October.

This should be quite a ride..
