I have a question?? I’ve been saving hard for a new bike and need advice if you are overweight is an aero bike worth the expense ????

I'd suggest that it's not at this stage: the type of bike you may want is likely to change. What you need is something that will make you want to do the miles. An aero bike tends to be more extreme, which if you've a larger than average middle ( ) may be harder.

A more upright frame at this stage may help. It doesn't need to be expensive, just enough to get you started.
