Lose body hair ? As I have got older I find I get more hirsute by the millisecond. Shoulders, upper arms, back, chest. It has a life all it's own. I have this dread I will wake up and find myself encased in a soft but irresistible
cocoon.
I keep it trimmed and in check but I have a feeling, one day, it will get me.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
After loosing the lot (and I mean THE LOT) to Chemo a few years back, I hope I never go bald ever again!!

..... There is a reason you have pubes :laugh:
I assume the reason for your chemo was a success,my wife was on of the first (according to her) to have chemo+ radiotherapy together in the late 80s/early nineties and is still has issues from the side effects of the treatment that meant she never grew any taller and has a number of deficiencies that mean she gets free prescriptions as well as nutropin growth hormone which i worked out would be at least 5k a year if i had to pay for it.

Actually, it did sod all for me (it was part of another procedure that ultimately didn't work) but I was treated by medication that came along at just the right time instead.

As for being the first, I remember hearing a Doctor talk about how he was part of a team who did it in the late '70 and early '80s when it was still very much experimental for many things, so you Wife might have been part of an experiment for something or she might have been one of the first non experimental patients as it were.

Regarding the stunted growth, I've heard of that, but more with people who had brain tumours as kids.
