Lost a full Kilo of body weight in the last 24 hours!

One of my colleagues lost nine pounds due to a gastro enteritis last week. She's trying very hard to find them again.

I read recently that the digestive system apparenlty carries about 2.5 kilo's of food and liquid matter in it.

9kg sounds about right for a full blown $hit through the eye of a needle Gastro bug

Ding! Why didn't I think of that? Of course you are right. It is a perverse thing because as nauseous as I feel, as sore as my head and my stomach are, I actually enjoy stepping on the scales and seeing the reduction, the beneficial side effect of the inconvenience.
