I appear to have lost the necessary aeronautical skills required to get a paper plane to the other side of a boring meeting in a straight line.
Its the European specification paper that's to blame, less aerodynamic but safer vis-a-vis paper cuts.

When I was a kid way back in the very early 70s worked summers as a farm hand on a small farm owned by an old Indian trapper. I learned all kinds of things from him about tracking, trapping and woodcraft that otherwise had died out long ago, even then. I could easily have survived in the woods indefinitely.

That was a long time ago.

Reverse a tractor and fully laden trailer at speed through barn doors with next to no clearance either side. Corn carting was good money as a student and we didn't hang about.

I might still be able to do it but I'll never know.

These are skills (rather than just being a grown-up) that I used to have as a kid but no longer possess..

1. The ability to do a proper wheelie
2. Ability to easily climb a tree
3. Knowing exactly where and how to give a dead-leg.
i used to be able to do a wheelie for miles on my bmx ( it was probably 27 yrs ago ) was thinking whilst out in my road bike the other day , could i do a wheelie on this? Well could i.......????

Your folding is not up to scratch, thereby resulting in poor flight performance!

Do more.
I studied music throughout my child, and was a very proficient trombonist. I doubt I could still pull that off... Give me some turntables and house music... That definitely more my bag now.

I used to be able to print 150 rolls of film in a day, useless skill now. I also used to know stenography and typing, quite useful in college, directly before personal computers.. Journalism is a useless skill as well nowadays, as people don't want the truth, rather confirmation of their firmly held beliefs. Good thing I learned to ride bicycles, use a camera, and drive heavy vehicles, as those afterthought skills have proven to be the basis of my continued and quite uninterrupted employment.

Aside: I didn't think there was necessarily anything wrong with having to get up in the night to go for a pee. Just a sign of being well hydrated. That said, it is annoying!

Here for rides.
Didn't learn to do manuals until I was in my 30's.

I once knew how to play folk guitar to a fairly decent level. One head injury later and it was gone.
