Lots of new toys on bike

Lucky bike today. Today's fit list consisted of;

Shimano Rs500 (courtesy RegG) front chain set and bottom bracket.
New shimano casette
Brand new chain
DT Swiss front wheel

Still to fit carbon front fork. Feels like a different bike. Love it

Yes a clean is next before anything

A clean is before you put new parts on it.

I would have replaced the cables while it was in bits and do you ride with that cable lock hanging from the seatpost, it will knock seven bells out of your paintwork if you do.

Your lock will soon rub paint away as well as rattling like a good un. Made the same mistake on an old hybrid I once had.

Whilst we are all putting the boot in, watch out for the front brake cable end rubbing on the fork.
