Does everyone ride as appallingly as that in Sweden?
Don't really know what you find appallingaly with my ride? It looks a little bit close when I'm passing the parked car but that is just the camera, I had at lease 10 cm on both sides from my bike and pushing the bike forward with my feet.

1st video - stupid/dangerous filtering.

2nd video - you shoot off a cycle lane into traffic as a car is aproaching and you beep him - they did nothing wrong.

:banghead:

You are a bit like that looney on that electric bike that keeps crashing into pedestrians/cars etc.

I guess that we have a bit diffrent rules in Sweden but the Volvo driver has red light and I have green.

The cab is running a red light ( or in this case a white since the lights in the buslane are diffrent)
The lane he is in isn't allowed to turn right.
In Sweden when you turn in an intersection you must stop for bikes and pedestrians that are crossing.

How I wish we had that rule here in the UK.

What a simpleton! In the second clip, yes the taxi ran a red light as we can see but, the cyclist had a full view of the situation as it happened while the taxi would have been lucky to see the cyclist approaching up his inside at speed yet the cyclist still chose to throw him/herself in front of the badly driven taxi!?!?!?!

Spend more time thinking about your safety and give less consideration to your 'rights'. You will live longer and help improve the image of cyclists everywhere.

This thread does nothing to reduce my dislike of products like the airzound. There really is no need to 'bully' your way through traffic by wielding the biggest gun!

Ooh, it's a close one though, isn't it? The light changes as the driver reaches it.

Does my sig line apply to Sweden?[/quote]In Sweden you should stop as soon as the yellow lights up and in the speed he has he would risk his driving license enev when passing at yellow, the red he is passing would guarantee him loosing his license for a couple of months.

What is sig line?

As a few folk have said, it doesn't matter what the rules are, people break them, and you put yourself in danger by thinking that because you have right of way, others should stop - they don't. I'd assume driving standards are better in Sewden but folk make mistakes and ignor road signs. The second video is plain stupid as you can see the vehicle is turning and not slowing - you had ample time to slow and stop.

I really hate airzounds. Beeping at everyone makes you just as bad as the impatient motorists who sit there in traffic getting worked up and honking at each other the second there is a small delay. Take a chill pill, and smile at them.

Ahhh ok

Well it doesn't reaslly apply here, not in intersections that are regulated by trafic lights or any road signs. But it can be really stupid to just go because you have the law on your side, it can hurt quite a lot.

As "I like skol" wrote I had full view of the taxi but we was not just driving against red, he was also turning from a lane when he is only allowed to go straight ahead. After driving a motorcycle for many years I'm counting that every one else will do something stupid.
