A small rental list helps you get the ones you want quicker. We've seen a few good films streamed but agree the choice is very limited.

It is only when you cancel that the Lovefilm sharks admit their billing process runs 24 hours before the money is deducted, so they need to have any outstanding films back on the 19th February. Which is a Sunday, so they need to have the anything outstanding processed by the Friday. Because the films which we sent back last Wednesday are still showing as being outstanding, they are going to charge an extra month.

As soon as I read this, I remembered this spoof on a classic poem;

The Modern Hiawatha.

He killed the noble Mudjokivis.
Of the skin he made him mittens,
Made them with the fur side inside,
Made them with the skin side outside.
He, to get the warm side inside,
Put the inside skin side outside;
He, to get the cold side outside,
Put the warm side fur side inside.
That's why he put the fur side inside,
Why he put the skin side outside,
Why he turned them inside outside.

I think it was around the "Which is a Sunday......" bit that some strange force kicked in......................:hyper:

Lovefilm is available via a PS3 if you really need to use their service without having to deal with all the hassle of posting stuff off etc.

We have access through the smart TV, 3 computers, the XBox and a couple of phones... don't give me an excuse to buy a PS3 as well. :laugh:

Mrs Norm is addicted to David Duchovny... sorry, Bones, so we've been watching that from the pilot. In fact, she's addicted to US cop shows (CSI, NCIS etc) and David Duchovny, so Bones is just perfect for her.

In the meantime, I'll be playing Warcraft, Battlefield 3 and Driver, although probably not consecutively. :addict:

david boreaneuz (sic) i think plays the lead. mrs sub says he was Angel in Buffy.

D'Oh. :laugh:

Duchovny = X Files & Californication

Boreanaz = Buffy & Bones

Mrs Norm wouldn't be too fussy, either will do. Apparently.

Which is ok as I feel similarly about Gillian Anderson and Sarah Michelle Gellar. :thumbsup:

Have been a LoveFilm subscriber now for nearing on 4 years and I have not had one single problem with them. We are on the 3 disc package. It only usually takes about 3 days for new discs to be sent out once the previously viewed have been returned. Ok, the only problem I had was a couple of weeks ago when we didnt recieve our discs after 5 days. It had heavily snowed and was our posties fault, not LoveFilms. Never streamed anything; rather have the DVD.
We always recieve High Priority discs unless the High list has run out, so they move over to your Medium list.

I know you didn't mean it that way but I'm now envisaging your postie doing a snow dance or skulking in abject failure having failed to make it through a blizzard
