Lovely voices on radio.

I'm in love with Radio 4 Today programme's Sarah Montague, she has a voice like fresh-ground coffee with great radio timbre, warmth and intelligence, a superb clear delivery and a lovely gentle humour and easy laugh. I have just Googled her image and now my devotion is complete:

1981-2 ish, Northampton local radio, Jenny from the JobCentre...had a regular slot... beautiful voice, from South Wales she was, had her own fan club and everything... sigh... Jenny, where are you now?

This thread is a bit pointless in that there are no links to the voices mentioned. Not that posting a pic is any help if you are not familiar with a particular person's voice. Does a sexy appearance mean that some one will have a sexy/distinctive voice? I think not.

Another presenter who has fantastic clear diction and great radio timbre is Claudia Hammond. She's featuring more and more on the radio and I think she has a great future in broadcasting, if only for the clarity of her delivery.
