Mushroom microdosing is the practice of ingesting a very low, "sub-perceptual" dose of psilocybin-containing mushrooms on a regular schedule, with anecdotal reports claiming benefits such as improved mood, creativity, and focus.

As of 2025 all psilocybin-containing mushrooms, fresh or dried, are illegal to possess, cultivate, or sell in the UK. I don't know how the brewery would get around that.

More wheels than sense
The UK ones don't contain any psilocybin at all and use a blend of other non psychedelic fungi , usually Lion's Mane and Ashwagandha etc.

I’ve tried two of them. One from Impossibrew and the other from Collider. Both claim to have active mushrooms or other plant extracts.

The Impossibrew “triple hopped IPA” is a decent AF beer but neither range has given me a “buzz”

Yes, I've definitely seen those mentioned in some ads.
