Although no-one has knocked it yet (i have heard disparaging comments before)..i agree wholeheartedly with alec...Sora has worked very well on my old bike for years and covered thousands of miles with no problems at all (barring the annual winter front mech seizure that takes literally 5 minutes to fix)

Ill probably spend a little more time looking into second hand 105 parts as i feel these parts could easily be ugraded to dura ace or similar if the bike is used more competatively.

Ive come up with the table below for the build, its TT btw, which will effect whether i buy a full groupset (due to sti levers)

Looks like im going for a 2nd hand dura ace 7800 groupset from another forum. Has come in at £300 excluding STI shifters, as i will be using bar end shifters
