Lube for commuting.

I commute 20+ miles a day. I am using muk-off dry lube and it isn't lasting more than 2 days (when dry). Any ideas on what I can use? I also use the bike on my days off for 50 mile cycles and tend to clean it once every 10 days (how my work pattern is).
Don't really mind wet or dry as I like to clean my bike so I shouldn't get much crap build up.

I use Finish Line Dry. It holds up quite well in the dry, but it does wash off quite easily in the wet.

Survived a 70 miler recently in hissing rain ! Oils should be re-aplied after a wet ride (once you've wiped the crap off the chain)

If you want a longer chain life with a much much cleaner chain and are willing to lubricate frequently, dry.

If you're not so fussed and want to minimise time spent lubricating, wet will last longer (but will attract more gunk which will probably increase wear on all your transmission).

I'd go for dry every time

But did the grease get inside the links where the lubrication is needed or did you simply suceeed in coating the outside of the chain that needs no lubrication but where grease etc is good at getting muck to stick.

If it's just normal commuter mileage, I think so; unless it's a wet week perhaps. Maybe you could buy both and decide which to use based on predicted weather
