Does anyone know the route (or could upload/send) to Jodrell Bank via Tatton Park and the back roads please?

From Lymm you want to fly past Lymm Dam, up Church Rd onto Crouchley Lane, take that all the way to the A road and then right then left onto Peacock Lane, all the way along to Bucklow Hill. Cross to Cicely Mill Lane, up to Rostherne, right onto Rostherne Rd, takes you to Tatton Pk. Go through the park, come out in Knutsford. From Knutsford go through Toft, then take the B road towards Middlewich via the Peovers. At Byley, take a left towards Goostrey then right after Cranage towards Holmes Chapel. From Holmes Chapel take the A535 towards Forty Acre Lane and when you get there, go left to Twemlow and Jodrell Bank is down there somewhere!

I'll mapmyride it for you later. I've done it several times although I almost invariably go right on Forty Acre Lane because I think Swettenham Village is nicer than Jodrell Bank.

Correction - at Forty Acre Lane, go left towards Chelford!

I use these roads a lot.

looks good, though id hardly class mine as a main road route either. all but the 3 miles around holmes chapel are back roads.

Even the main roads around there are fairly pleasant to ride on IME.
