magic shine problem

folks

my magic shine frint light has suddenly stopped working....ive charged it fully....when i connect the battery, the back of the light is green, but when i press the button nothing happens?


any ideas..............cheers

is the battery connected?
is it switched on?


have you tried banging it or blowing?

aye its switched on, i charged the battery for 2-3 hrs today....the light on the back is green, but when i switch it on nothing happens, sometimes the led lights up very faint, then goes off!!!

Sounds like it could be a dodgy connection to the led. You need to find someone who is good with electronics to have a look at it.

Iirc the colour the button lights up gives an indication of the output, my mj 808 has the newer battery with an lcd display. You could try testing the output with a multimeter on the connecter between battery and the lamp, but the fact the button is lit would make you think that the problem is inside the light unit

Is it the 5 mode light? there have been reports that they have a dodgy switch.
