Looking for a better mount for the Magicshine that is adjustable/quick release.

The following are available but in my opinion at £15 are too expensive in relation to the cost of the light:

The Electron mount in this thread looked like an easy, cheap solution , but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available anymore:

This is another solution but again seems too expensive and comes from the US:

Has anyone got a better, cheaper solution that doesn't require an engineering degree?

Many thanks

user the rubber band provided?
I have no issue with it.

Yes of course but:

- not so easy to remove if your're leaving the bike or want to swap it to another bike
- beam can't be adusted left to right
- the bands tend to become brittle over time

I'm looking for something of a bit better quality and reading some of the threads on this and other cycle forums others have the same issues.

I used an Electron mount. Way better than the rubber bands (since it's adjustable and doesn't move around on bumpy roads). If you can find an Electron mount it's the best of the cheap solutions IMO.

Yeap that was the conclusion I came to looking at the previous threads, but the one I posted above doesn't seem to be made anymore. Is there another one that will work?

Will have a look at the Hope mounts? Is this the one:

Thanks for the replies.
