Thanks! I'm busy in the twitter/blog universe these days, and keeping away from long threaded rants.

I do pop in here from time to time, but mostly in the sportive or rides section. Certainly not given up the videos, in fact a new camera should be arriving today!

You didn't miss much, very short clips but mostly talking with the mandatory metal box driver complaining it was unfair on car drivers, there always being picked on.

Mine wasn't used but nice to be asked.

they used your footage so invoice them for it ditto Gaz want me to find some relevant rates for you I only really know the photographic ones

No discussion of the clips, just used as a background of bad driving for the story about Police giving on-the-spot fines for careless driving. Given I've been cut up three times in a week by Police vehicles, I can't see it making much difference.

nice of em to ask, bet it says 'the world + wife can use your stuff however' in the terms for youtube...

wierd attititude... when driving i'd love a 'hand of god' to instantly penalise stupid drivers..... i do my bit, by never allowing someone on the phone to merge..

There is a button you can press which gives details on how the video may be distributed...but I've no idea how it shows up (I think it just stops hotlinking)

I think its just the proliferation of the videos. Cyclists have been the most active, with motorcyclists a close second, as recording the evidence. Both groups have been equally active in asking for change, with businesses also lodging concerns. People like myself also send links in to demonstrate points when in corrospondence to news papers and radio shows.
