I tried one once, within a couple of days I was waking up feeling like I had fought Mike Tyson, took it off & I was fine the next day.People take the **** out of accupuncture, herbal remedies etc,but there are a lot more Chinese than there are Europeans, they are not dying off.
Might be a good idea to clarify which post you're replying to... I doubt it's Carl's....

I refused to dissect the frog, dropped biology, and did chemistry instead!

I also tried crocodiles. But I couldn't get on with them I kept getting stuck in their throat. Being bulky has its benefits.

Mrs N has "golfers elbow" and her GP suggested an elbow band (rather than a wristband), and from a quick search of Google it appears that they re also available for Tennis Elbow. The don't look "cool" tho. :becool:

I've got that too. My GP didn't suggest an elbow band though, I was referred to a physio. I went, was told there was nothing much to be done about it, was shown a couple of exercises to do, then came home and have put up with it since.

I wear a Trion-Z magnetic band thing, can't say I've noticed it doing anything for me but it does nicely break up the line between my cyclists tan on the arms and my white hand from being inside the gloves ^_^

Having had my wife's live saved by drugs prescribed by a GP. Plus my sister in law is a GP, then I think I know what I am talking about.

I asked a friend of mine who's husband is a GP, a minor medical question once. The answer was .......Dunno, his medical knowledge doesn't rub off in bed you know!

I have a copper bracelet with magnets, and wear it occasionally. I've never noticed any improvement what so ever, but that's me. Maybe different for you and yours.

Er, why? In most cases diligent use of eccentric flexion exercises will cure it.

Mrs Doseone suffers from a bit of tennis elbow, and a friend of hers who has tendonitis uses one of those wristbands with magnets in and swears by it. So now Mrs D is after one.

Does anyone use them? Its very hard from the website to work out exactly what it does or how it does it. There's a lot of "science" about ion flow etc which sounds like bo***cks to me.

Any thoughts?
If Mrs D is inclined to believe that a magnetic bracelet will help her then I would have thought she is a prime candidate for a bit of 'placebo effect' benefit from one.
Can you not just buy some cheap bracelet from the market and convince her it's the new 'super duper' model that's even more effective than the expensive ones
