Make London like Bogota

I love this bit:

"Every Sunday and public holiday, over 120km of streets are closed to motor vehicles from 7am to 2pm and are used for walking, skating and cycling."

I would love to see a city centre closed to traffic, great idea.

'tis a brilliant idea ... but then Bogota is a two-bit third-rate four-dollar shanty-town ... whereas London is one of the world's most powerful financial capitals (despite the credit crunch!) ... so I don't think it would quite work over here! There's a saying that "the city never sleeps". 'tis true.

I think it would certainly work in some of our provincial capitals. I would definitely love to see it in Portsmouth!

You have that one day a year in London. It would be good if it was at least once a month, then it wouldn't get so crowded and would be more enjoyable.

Ah! Access for the road at the end of the lane, which leads to the road, which leads to another road, which leads to the destination.

That's how Access Only seems to work around here, anyway.
