We used to eat churros con chocolate down in a churreria in Calle de la Alhondiga. Fried bread with sugar is the poor man's version of churros.

Not weird at all, I like chocolate (not spread though) and crisps together.

Also like tomato and crisps sandwiches. You have to put the crisps in just before you eat them so the crisps are still crunchy and have not had time to go soggy, and they have to be plain crisps.

That's nothing compared with a parmo.

I wouldn't have had a clue what that is if it weren't for Wiki!!

That looks suspiciously like something you would find on the pavement outside the Rose and Crown after a busy Saturday night.

The delights of fruit cake and Cheshire cheese together was something I had not experienced until I moved North. Much like the maltloaf/cheddar.

Tomato sauce and curry powder sandwiches using sliced white bread when a student... no money for food- it all went on drawing and model making stuff.
