What wierd food combinations do you hanker for ?

A bloke I work with got a McDonalds for his lunch the other day, nothing too unusual about that until he started dipping his fries in his McFlurry. I had to ask why, "Tastes like donuts" was the answer.

Naturally had to then try it and yes, the combination tastes like donuts!

When I lived in Spain we used to eat fried bread sprinkled with sugar - just like doughnuts again.

I used to buy Donner meat from my local chippy for my youngest daughter when she was about 10 as she didn't like anything else on the menu. I convinced her and her sister that it was Elephants Leg (either that or they humoured me)

Went on football tour with my Sunday League team to Spain at under 14's and getting that for breakfast at the hostel we stopped in was an experience, damn tasty though

Cabbage cooked with orange juice and zest of orange peel. I love it and everyone else thinks it's vile. I think it was a Dutch thing.

Works with brussels sprouts too - with a wee bit of grated ginger a well. Yum

Cheese and strawberry jam sandwiches... started in 1984 skiing in Voss, Norway, to spice up the boring cheese sandwiches we made up at breakfast for our lunch break up the mountain... skiing on a shoestring staying in the Youth Hostel!
