how do you make a Swiss roll…
Push him down a hill!
My wife has just come back from Jerez and liked there too. Not touristy in her opinion.
although we prefer shopping to old stones
Malta is like Marmite - you love it or hate it.
I've added Sardinia to the list based on a colleague's input 👍
ThanksIf going to Malta then Meliha bay is lovely. Lots of history. Perhaps another place to consider is Sorrento. Not too hot, lovely lemon groves to visit. Much Limoncello. We've also done Madeira which also has lots of history, and er Madeira Sherry obvs.
Depending on how many friends you have, I can recommend Villa Galidia wholeheartedly (4 bedroom villa). Thanks
Been to Sorrento (and I also plan to go with some friends next years).
Cote d'Azur? Civilised and should be well-equipped for oldies.
