I'm a Mamil & proud of it  although I'm not sure how expensive the bike has to be to be a proper Mamil??

ps @Shaun Mamil now needs adding to spell check software as it shows as an error

Dictionaries are descriptive, not prescriptive. In other words, they just record examples of the words we use and do not make anything "official". If something is used and widely understood, then it is an official word. There is no other authority for English than its users. This is not the case in France, where they have the Academie Francaise, which is an official authority on what is French and what is not. Not that the French take much notice.
Mamil has been around for a while and is understood by many. Therefore it is a word. Official!
