Man flu commuting

It feels like I'm succumbing to "man flu". At what point should I leave work on the basis that I'll have to be well enough to cycle home?

Immediately ..... explain to a fellow man that you have the first signs of man flu and are close to deaths door.
A woman will not understand or sympathise ....... peddle slow and inform anyone at home of your eta.
Also leave instructions for soup,blanket and hot water bottle
