Hah.... CXP's do indeed munch pot holes. Walked past Witworth Hall this am, and the pot holes are a good 20 metres apart - felt as though it was one big pot hole....hmmm might have been going a bit quick.....

Yes, generally the buses on that route are OK, considering the number of crazy cyclists.

Its the condition of the Magic buses that bothers me though, get behind one and you are drowned in black soot. The only thing magic about them is the fact that so many of them are still on the road!

The only thing magic about magic buses is their ability to disappear...

...in a cloud of their own smoke!

Magic Bus is a Stagecoach operation. You'd hope that Stagecoach training would be reasonable. Might be worth bunging in a complaint.

Quite a few operators have substantial waiting lists of people wanting to drive their buses (one local to me has circa 200 on a waiting list). If I were a bus driver, I'd bear that in mind....!

It is, but Magic Bus seem to have different time pressures etc. Stagecoach buses usually get there quicker and are more expensive, so less student's get on. The magic rider cards work on Magic buses, so the drivers cram every bod onto the bus, then have to catch up time. The stagecoach rider cards cover most, but are more expensive.

Watch the double rear axel ones if you are tall....apparently they are imported buses from Hong Kong or China.....so limited leg room.

Stage coach also own Bullocks as well in Mcr....

The Olympian tri-axles are ex Hong Kong and the Dennis Dragon tri-axles are ex Kenya...

Some Stagecoach buses are actually old GM buses, I remember seeing the Stagecoach logos on buses years ago but the GM buses sign somewhere on the bus (eg on the windows etc), so Magic Bus probably also uses GM buses.
