Glad you found the Garmin, 400bhp, phew...........

Was much warmer on way home........and wet as Dan says...nearly cooked.... MTB washed, lubed, and put away as second choice (hands froze doing that), the fixed is back out tomorrow. Still some big chunks of ice on side roads so need to be careful.

wahey made it in on the Tank of a hybrid, had to walk at one point as i forgot the subways would be icy and had already gone that way when i realised.
Coming home was just wet rather than cold, had one rear end slide as I took to the cycle path near home, have to stick to the roads tomorrow.

Well done on finding the Garmin 400 bhp, that would have been a nightmare.
Had my Un-cool mirror today as I was on the Trek and was well happy to be able to see the Smart half Watt bouncing back off the road signs, excellent light

Just did my commute for the first time in two weeks. It was hard going!

Mind you, Tuesday & Wednesday were spent boarding the loft, and on Thursday night I was dancing in the pub on the works Christmas outing! Rubbed all the skin off one of my heels.

Great to get back on the bike, but I'm not particularly looking forward to the home leg (but then I never do).

Snow and Ice has gone  Road bikes, well off the road  Couldn't be bothered with the MTB as I've put the knobblies back on so twas the motorbike this morning.

Hopefully parts here tomorrow so I can get out Wednesday before the Ice and snow starts coming back

Nice bike that mate, I've missed most of December with the icy conditions have been on bike twice, off it again now due to 'man flu'

will be going for it big time in the New year diet wise so I can get up some of those hills with you.

Yikes - take it easy out there Shaun! That's why I haven't ridden my bike for 3 weeks...

(I sent you an email on September 7th but I don't know if you received it. Perhaps your junk mail filter swallowed it up?)

I won't be doing much on the bike one way or the other until the NY, but if you want to get together once it gets a bit warmer and there is no ice about, just let me know.

That was fun

Fair play to the guy I saw on drops  It was hairy enough on the MTB. Also saw a guy in a Sky Jersey having a "chat" with a taxi driver !

For me thou it was probably the most stress free ride in ever, plenty of room from the over take cagers

Take care folks :becool:

i got it wrong...it's a giant tcr 1. feels weird on big wheels, climbs great. the micro knobbles have done a decent job of keeping me upright, so far. i would buy some spikes, if i could find a shop that has em.

ps,

hi colin,
i did get your email, i just forgot as i've had some 5000 word essay's to do, sorry. i'll be up for some early week rides, i'm in uni for 3 days a week, except when on placement. just gimme a shout when you feel it's safe enough at your end.

cheers

shaun
