Manchesters unfilled potholes

Nearly came a cropper last night in Cheadle, bus had pulled in so I checked behind and moved out for an overtake, was concentrating on the van coming up behind me and saw a pothole at the last minute, just managed to miss it with my front wheel but the back caught it a bit. Doesn't seem to be any damage luckily, I know every grid, hole, and bump on that road but this was off my usual line which is why it caught me out.

Half of Wythenshawe road past the park has been done over the last couple of days- It needed it-and is like a millpond now.


I just hope they get around to doing some roads on the other half of the city sometime soon!

I can confirm danbo does not lie, it is silky smooth now. Took a detour this morning to have a look, just need the other 99.9% of them to be the same and we'd be laughing.

Longley Lane has been fixed (in a fashion) - you won't lose a wheel now, but it's far from a decent repair - still a divot in it. I think these'botch' jobs are all we can expect now, given budget cuts.

Will be going that way home so will have a look at that one. Found another today I need to report, sure it has appeared over the weekend. :
