Maps is showing my name!

My brother in the USA has just sent me a screenshot of Maps showing my name at my house. How the flinkin' blip does it know that or is it linking with his address book?

Its from his address book. If you’ve a full address in contact details when browsing Maps it will pop up with name.

Probably linking with his address book. If I google map a location say on the PC, then if in the car and turn on android auto on my phone, that location I googled is on the list to go to. Spooky.

Why not try it with his house/address and send the screenshot to him? A problem shared is not just your problem anymore, if it is actually a 'problem'.

Sounds like the latter. From what I know of where it is - - it's not showing for me.

It's Google Maps but it doesn't work, maybe I haven't got his address formated correctly in my address book.
