'Marker Lights'

On a couple of occasions recently in Wakefield, I've seen a rider using - what I can best describe as - 'Marker Lights'

Given the facts that it's dark, & I've only seen him, when on 'Dads taxi' duties, I can't ask about them

To me, it seems that they either clip onto the end of drop-bar' near the end-plugs, or actually replace the end-plugs
They show lights to front & rear too

Anyone got any ideas, please?

The problem with these reviews is people only really comment if they have had trouble with the product . So you get 20 bad reviews online but thousands of happy users that didn't write a review .

had them the red ones for drops a few years back, after seeing them on another bike, and loved them and was asked about them all the time but they were so flimsy that trying to change the batteries broke them

^^^ This.

I have seen them a few times on my commute.
I spoke to one guy who used them. He said he was on his second pair as the first set failed. Looking at the Wiggle link. His weren't the only ones.
Yup..mine fail every year...as the battery goes flat they refuse to turn off...plus the housing for them expands to fit the inner bars and if tightened too much (which it's impossible not to) they crack and are forever loose.

That said, in the depths of winter I still blow the dust off them. they make an unfamiliar shape and seem to make you stand out a lot more because of it.
