The 'error' people make is putting too much on, all it needs is a thin smear too much and even a fan like myself finds it gross.

It's also a 'secret ingredient' in many of my sauces/stews and pies not to mention gravy along with a dash of 'Bertie'*

Tip - mix marmite with soft cheese or butter, then spread this on your toast. It's easier to spread and thins it out.

This spreads quite well on toast if you can’t get the normal jar.

Same here Accy, I have a small jar in the cupboard and I'll occasionally (like once a month) enjoy a bit on toast, but I'm not huge on it. It's okay.
