Errrrrrrrrrrrrr... NoCan I reply using McDonald's chip, burgers and drinks for the formula?
Shark fin pie?
15" diameter x 6" long/deepIs the cylinder 15" long by 6" diameter or 15 diameter by 6" long
The cube has 5 eggs, so the number in the cylinder must be more.Cylinder has a volume of 424 and the cube 80 . So the cylinder is 5.3 times larger in volume so cube would need 1egg . Are all your measurements in inches
Ps I could be typing rubbish
As my teacher used to say always read the question properly !The cube has 5 eggs, so the number in the cylinder must be more.
5.3 has been mentioned twice, so maybe that's the answer..
Yep, all measurements are in inches "

How many times bigger is the volume of an 8" x 4" x 2½" cuboid than a 15" x 6" cylinder?
Also, can the answer be rounded up to the nearest egg, assuming the cuboid has 5 eggs in the recipe.
Thanks

And you didn't listen to your teacher.......As my teacher used to say always read the question properly !
Yes difference in volume is 5.3 so 5 * 5.3 near enough 26
I believe this to be correct I got height and diameters the wrong way round I stand correctedcylinder is pi*7.5*7.5*6 = 1060
cuboid is 8*4*2.5 = 80
1060/80=13.25
5*13.25=66.25
That's a lot of eggs.....
and always show your workings out.....Don't encourage him......it's fecking wrong and he should have listened to his teacher.
