Hi

Got some new Mavic Cosmic Elite wheels (Shimano M10). I have swapped the 105 (10spd) cassette from the old Bontrager Race wheel and there was a spacer on that hub. In the Mavic 'manual' it says to use the spacer for Shimano cassette's, which I have done. (It says spacer not required for SRAM)

On fitting/trying the the wheel and without adjusting anthing I now find I can't get into the largest sprocket, the RD is hitting the 'stop'.

Before I go adjusting things, I just want to double check whether that the Mavic spacer is really required for 10spd cassettes. The Mavic 'manual'/website is next to useless regarding infomation.

Can post some pics if needed.

Many thanks.

I was just being too lazy to use the back-arrow several times to find it, copy, forward-arrow to here again and paste !

I needed a standard 10 spd spacer with Mavic Ksyrium wheels and a SRAM cassette. I didn't use an extra Mavic Spacer. Does that make sense??
