That's the wrap done. I used 25mm wide cotton tape with no adhesive. Soaked the tape and wrapped it as tight as I could. The hypothesis is that the tape has stretched when I wrapped it and will shrink as it dries making it mega-tight. Or it might slip off.

You could use gum Arabic to shrink the tape

Left Glasgow on the Pennine on Saturday morning and arrived at Inverness yesterday afternoon. So that was nice.
